Verde River Citizens Alliance General Meeting, March 15, 2003

What can you do to help protect the Verde River? Find out at the
Verde River Citizens Alliance Monthly Meeting.

The VRCA invites the public to join in learning about the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service. Pam Sponholtz of the FWS will give a presentation entitled
"Protecting America's Fisheries" at the Cottonwood Library on March 15. The
meeting starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon, and will include updates on
recent events of importance to northern Arizona citizens and the planning of
upcoming VRCA activities.

Saturday, May 10, 2003 National River Clean-up Day--  Tentative plans to
clean the six miles of the Verde River Greenway- pending arrangements.
