Verde River Citizens Alliance Meeting Nov. 23, 2002 People in action make things happen. Harnessing the exceptional talents and energy of the members of the Verde River Citizens Alliance through encouragement of committee participation was the goal of the November Verde River Citizens Alliance meeting. There are an abundance of projects to consider including water monitoring, seminars and crawdad cookouts. Current committees are the education, membership, public relations and legal committees. Possible additions to these may be a program committee and work projects committee. Committees met to plan strategies for the coming months and discuss long-term goals and visions. The public was encouraged to attend and participate. The meeting was held at the Dead Horse Ranch Verde River Greenway Studio.
